About Internal Communication System
Marine Electricals offers internal communication system on board a ship comprising of the critical components including the Automatic Telephone System (ATS), the Self Powered Telephone System (SPT), the Public Address-General Alarm System, the Sound Reception System and the Talk-Back System. These systems collectively contribute to a well-integrated and secure communication network on board.
The Automatic Telephone System
The Auto Telephone System is tailored for maritime use, offering a versatile communication solution employing Analog, Digital, or IP Telephones. This is an electronic telephone switchboard designed for robust reliability and durability to address diverse requirements both within and outside a ship. This system functions as an interface connecting the micro-computer controlled central exchange unit with various telecommunication equipment.

The Self Powered Telephone System (SPT)
The Self Powered Telephone System (SPT) serves as an emergency communication system, relying on internal energy generation for short-term operation and seamlessly switching to battery less mode during mains power failure.

- Communication is available for 10-15 min with one-time charging
- Enable to recharge while system is operating
- Systems available in three types namely – Direct calling, Master & Slave calling (1:4) and Mutual selective calling (12 lines, 24 lines)
The Public Address-General Alarm System
The Public Address-General Alarm System ensures compliance with maritime regulations, delivering clear announcements, alarms, and entertainment distribution across vessels. It is designed for general announcing with advanced technology.

The Sound Reception System
The Sound Reception System detects foghorn signals from other vessels, enhancing navigational safety. Sound Reception System is use Onboard one man operated closed bridge class ships.

- Has SRR-1 42 interface connection along with built-in loudspeaker and Wide function and an 8 Direction indicator.
- Features Loudspeaker volume control and power on/off along with Direction and activity indicator LED’s dimming control, 3 Mute circuits, Self-test functionality
- Connection for power supply DC24V and AC1 10- 220V
- External power fault output (dry contact) connection
For Microphone Unit (SRR-142)
- Simple installation with only one microphone unit
- Condenser microphone for very good reception in the required audio band
